• Juice drink colored with natural beta-carotene
• Hard candies colored with red cabbage, turmeric, and red beet

D.D. Williamson is launching new natural colorings that include naturally derived beta-carotene and certified organic annatto. The company is hosting two symposia at this year’s Annual Meeting. The first, “Coloring Options from Natural Sources” (Session 139), will take place on Monday, June 8, from 1:30–3 p.m. Jody Renner-Nantz, D.D. Williamson Food Science Chemist, will speak at the second oral session, “Heat and Light Stability of Naturally Derived Red Colorings for Beverages” (Session 239), which will take place on Tuesday, June 9, from 1:40–2 p.m.
