The atmosphere was festive when friends and colleagues of newly elected Fellow and incoming IFT board member Cathy Adams and her fiancé, Peter Barton Hutt, gathered to celebrate the couple’s engagement. Food Technology Contributing Editor and longtime IFT member A. Elizabeth (Liz) Sloan and her husband, James Barton Murtland III, hosted the event, held at the Anabella Hotel. More than 100 guests—including current board members and past presidents—were on hand to extend their congratulations.
