Top Execs to Share Strategies on Changing Consumer Demands

Senior executives from PepsiCo, Unilever, Costco, and Cargill will be center stage for the Theme General Session, “Responsive Strategies to Changing Consumer Demands and Business Climate.” The session will take place from 8:30–10 a.m. Monday, June 8, in Ballroom B of the Convention Center.
The session presenters will share examples of ways in which their respective companies are adapting business platforms to better respond to the economic climate and consumers’ changing consumption patterns and preferences. Expect the discussion to touch upon topics such as the demand for locally produced foods, commodity pricing, mounting concerns about the safety of internationally sourced foods and ingredients, and much more.
Moderated by Noel Anderson, Vice President World Wide Technical Insights, PepsiCo Inc., the session will feature panelists Stephan Habif, Vice President R&D North America, Unilever; Christine Summers, Director of Food Safety and Quality Assurance, Costco Wholesale; and Chris Mallett, Corporate Vice President R&D, Cargill Inc.
