Wixon has developed an entire line of taste modifiers under the Mag-nifique brand that target Health & Wellness. Mag-nifique’s library of 18 taste modifiers let you remove unwanted sodium, fat, and sugar without sacrificing flavor. Wixon will be showcasing the latest in masking technology at 2010 IFT:

• KCLean Salt: An alternative to full salt with 50% less sodium, but maintains the salty taste. Applications include any high-sodium products including: soups, sauces, meats, frozen entrees, snacks, baked goods, and more.

• Mag-nifique for Stevia: An all natural technology-based ingredient that eliminates the bitter aftertaste of stevia and enhances the sweetness that stevia has to offer. Now you can increase sweetness without adding more stevia and manage costs. Can be used in any application in conjunction with stevia: beverages, desserts, snacks, yogurts, baked goods, and more.

• Mag-nifique Sweet Lift: All natural ingredients that work synergistically with sugar to enhance sweetness, but without the calories. Can be used in any application in conjunction with sugar: desserts, cereal, yogurt, beverages, and more.
